Ethernet services will suit a wide range of business
requirements, and are designed to offer you the
highest levels of performance, reliability, service and
value for money. BT is the UK’s leading provider of
Site to Site Ethernet Services.

There are two main Ethernet services
for connecting two or more sites:

Within 25km of each other - Short Haul Data
Services (SHDS) provide a direct fibre connection
between two sites to deliver the Ethernet service.
Multiple SHDS Ethernet services can be used to
form a network between multiple local sites.

Locally or nationally: Etherflow can be used to
connect two UK sites together using BT’s Private
Ethernet network which covers most of the UK.
Etherflow can also be used to connect multiple sites
together to form an Ethernet VPN.

EFM Special offers on rental are available on all bandwidths for 1 year term and from 5Mbps to 10Mbps bandwidth for 3 and 5 year contracts.

Free connection is only available on 3 or 5-year contracts. It applies to the BTnet standard installation charge including the circuit connection charge
and router, but depends on suitable spare line equipment being available at your site. If suitable spare line equipment isn’t available, the circuit
planners will advise what, if any, additional duct or fibre is needed to deliver the service to your site. All orders depend on our survey. If there are
going to be any additional charges we will tell you. If you don’t agree to them, you can cancel the order.
