If a phone is out of service how can I make sure we don’t miss any calls?

With User Intercept, you can take a Cloud Voice phone number out of service and give a message to anyone who calls it, or route the call to another number.

  1. Login to the BT Cloud Voice portal
  2. Select the ‘Employees’ menu
  3. Select ’Features’ from the menu on the left hand side
  4. Select ‘Call Control’ and then User Intercept’

  6. Check the ‘Intercept All Incoming Calls’ box
  7. Check the ‘Play New Telephone Number’ for the system to play an announcement containing the new phone number – enter the new number in the ‘New Phone Number’ box
  8. Check ‘Transfer On ‘0’ to give a caller the option of being transferred to a new number; enter the number you want to transfer calls to in the ‘Transfer On ‘0’ To’ box
  9. Check ‘Use Personal Announcement’ to upload a personal announcement rather than using the system default
